Dirk Meyskens is an experienced engineer currently serving as a 1st Engineer and Day Engineer at Jan De Nul since September 2007, working on various projects including the trailer suction hopper dredger Leiv Eiriksson and the TSHD Gerardus Mercator. Prior to this role, Dirk completed training on the ROV support vessel Deurloo with URS nv and held a position as Field Service Engineer at Coservices International, focusing on maintenance for major clients such as Gaz De France and Ineos. Dirk also worked as a Field Service Engineer at Emerson, handling maintenance for companies including Campina and Burgo. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor in Maritime Engineering from the Maritime Academy of Antwerp and a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from Catholic College University 'Sint-Lieven' in Ghent.
