Marianne Brown has extensive experience in research and development, project management, and education within the field of computer science. Currently serving as Manager of Research Information and Project Manager for the eResearch Centre at James Cook University since 2010, Marianne has previously held roles as a Web Developer at ARCS and the Australian Research Collaboration Service, and as a Project Officer at James Cook University, where project management included the curriculum refresh for the Bachelor of Information Technology. Prior to these positions, Marianne worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Code Valley and spent over twelve years at James Cook University, contributing as a Lecturer and Programmer. Marianne holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, both from James Cook University.
