Mateus Teixeira de Andrade

Quality Manager at Jaguar Plásticos

Mateus Teixeira de Andrade has extensive work experience in various roles within the manufacturing and logistics industry. Mateus started their career as a Trainee at Hutchinson in 2000 and later worked as a Quality and Continuous Improvement Engineer at Maxion Wheels from 2002 to 2005. Mateus then joined Valeo as a Quality Engineer/Purchasing professional for a period of time in 2005 before moving to ZF Group as a Production Supervisor/Quality Supervisor from 2005 to 2008. From 2008 to 2011, Mateus worked as a Quality Manager and Black Belt at Tower Automotive. Mateus then joined GE Transportation in 2011 as a Manufacturing Coordinator and was responsible for managing the production and assembly unit of electric traction motors for locomotives. Mateus worked at Plascar as a Quality Manager from 2012 to 2014, focusing on quality management and process improvement. Mateus then joined Newell Brands in 2014 as a Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager, and later became a Logistics Manager, PCP Quality, and Continuous Improvement in 2015. Currently, Mateus works at Jaguar Plásticos as a Quality Manager, where they are responsible for quality management, improving performance with customers, and maintaining relationships with major national and multinational clients.

Mateus Teixeira de Andrade began their education in 1997 at USP - Universidade de São Paulo, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Production Engineering in 2002. In 1999, they also studied at Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers, specializing in Industrial Engineering.

Later, in 2004, Mateus obtained a Green Belt certification from Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Mateus further expanded their knowledge by acquiring an ISO 9001 & ISO TS Auditor certification from Fundação Vanzolini in the same year. In 2010 and 2011, they pursued an MBA Executivo in Business Management from Ibmec and a Black Belt in Six Sigma from Setec Consulting Group.

In 2020, Mateus Teixeira de Andrade completed a Master Black Belt certification from Grupo Voitto.
