Lesley Bechtold is an experienced professional in the field of histopathology and electron microscopy with a robust career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Associate Director and Senior Manager of Histopathology Sciences at The Jackson Laboratory since January 1997, Lesley oversees daily operations for various services, managing a 14-person staff and substantial budgets. Previously, Lesley held the position of Research Electron Microscopist at Thomas Jefferson University from 1994 to 1997, where responsibilities included conducting research involving live animals and training undergraduate students. From July 1989 to September 1994, Lesley worked at Fox Chase Cancer Center as an Electron Microscopist, managing the Electron Microscopy Service and training staff. Education includes an MBA in Non-Profit Management from Husson University and advanced degrees in Biology from Villanova University and other institutions.
