Magdalene Moonsamy is an accomplished legal professional and leader with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Council Member for Iziko Museums of South Africa and as an Attorney of the High Court at MAGDALENE MOONSAMY ATTORNEYS, Magdalene specializes in commercial and corporate law. As the Chief Operations Officer at the National Youth Development Agency since June 2011, Magdalene has contributed to youth development initiatives. Magdalene also held the position of Former Member of Parliament and served as Deputy Director in the Department of Social Development, focusing on policy development and research. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Durban Westville and additional studies in Afrikan Feminism and African Political Economy at TMALI. Magdalene is currently pursuing a Master's in Internal Law with a focus on international tax at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
