Nina Bougas has a diverse work experience in the fields of business development, quality assurance, research and development, technical sales, and analysis. Nina is currently working as a Business Development Manager for It's Fresh!. Previously, they served as a Quality Assurance Manager at RR WINE TECHNOLOGIES and as an R&D Manager at West Cork Distillers. Prior to that, they were a Technical Sales Manager at CDS Vintec. Nina also gained valuable experience at Distell, where they worked as an Analyst and pursued a PhD in Oenology. Nina started their career at PathCare as a Senior Analyst.

Nina Bougas has a diverse education history spanning various fields of study. Nina obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Oenology and Viticulture from Stellenbosch University between 2002 and 2005. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Oenology from the same university, completing it from 2007 to 2009. Furthermore, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Oenology from Stellenbosch University, undertaking the program between 2009 and 2014.

In terms of their focus on quality control technology, Nina Bougas completed certifications in ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2018, and ISO 17025:2005 through Pathcare and Udemy, indicating their expertise in this area.

To further enhance their knowledge and skill set, they also pursued additional professional development. In 2021, they engaged in a short-term program focused on Packaging V 6 at BRCGS. Additionally, they enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the same year, specializing in HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point).
