Oleksii Samara has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Oleksii started their career as a Frontend Developer at NXC - OPEN RELIABLE in 2011. Oleksii then worked as a Middle PHP-Developer at Ciklum from February 2012 to September 2012, where they were responsible for back-end development of payment integration and user's private cabinet.

In 2012, Oleksii founded their own company, WEB ART Ukraine, where they worked as a Founder and Software Engineer until December 2015. Oleksii'sresponsibilities included projects architecture design, development of REST-API services, project management, and hiring. Oleksii also gained proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various other technologies during this time.

From January 2016 to February 2019, Oleksii worked at OpticsPlanet, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer. Oleksii was responsible for back-end development of applications, UI architecture development, and front-end development of internal products. Oleksii also worked on analyzing the market, performing a large number of requests per second.

Oleksii then joined SoftVoyager as a Software Engineer from January 2016 to November 2016. Here, they worked on back-end development, architecture development, and writing technical documentation.

In 2019, Oleksii joined Svitla Systems, Inc. as a Software Architect and later became a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead. Oleksii was responsible for micro-service applications architecture design and planning, back-end development, and integration of B2B solutions with automation.

From July 2021 to June 2022, Oleksii worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Star, where they had responsibilities related to micro-service application architecture, development, technical documentation, and code review.

From February 2020 to January 2024, Oleksii worked at Berlin Brands Group as a Software Architect. Oleksii was responsible for micro-service applications architecture design, multi-domain API development, and integration of B2B solutions with automation.

Most recently, Oleksii co-founded Exalty LTD in 2023, where they hold the role of Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer.

Oleksii Samara obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Military Intelligence, General from Odessa Institute of Land Forces in the years 2003 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management of Foreign Economic Activity from Odessa National Polytechnic University from 2007 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications in Information Security of the State from Svitla Systems, Inc., JavaScript from TestDome, MySQL 5.7 Administration from Brainbench, and PHP from TestDome in various years.
