Chuma Iweama has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Software Developer/IT Analyst at Bara Solutions and Sunesis, where they developed full-stack applications using various technologies and frameworks. Chuma also created an individual school report generator for the World Bank-powered Lagos State EKO Project.

In 2014, Chuma joined Meristem Securities Limited as an Application Developer and Support, responsible for building and maintaining the web and Android versions of the Meritrade app. This app provided users with on-the-go access to equity trading, stock quotes, real-time balances and positions, portfolio details, and account funding and withdrawal.

From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Wareproz Limited as a Senior Software Engineer. Then, they joined ARM Life Plc in 2017, where they held the role of Senior Software Engineer until 2021. At ARM Life Plc, Chuma led the integration of the company's core insurance system with other enterprise applications and developed web and mobile solutions using various technologies such as PHP, Slim Framework, Restful API, JSON, XML, Vuejs, Laravel, Jenkins-powered build pipeline, Java, Android Studio, MySQL, and NodeJs. Chuma also product managed the concept-to-launch of insurance-related products on the Tangerine financial app available on the Play Store and App Store.

Chuma's most recent work experience is as a Software Engineer at Moodle, starting in 2022. With an extensive background in software development and integration, they bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their current role.

Chuma Iweama attended Nnamdi Azikiwe University from 2006 to 2011 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering. In addition to their degree, they also obtained the TOGAF® Certification Program from The Open Group in May 2019 and UMITT certification from AfriHub ICT training centre in March 2008.
