David Kester serves as the Director of Radio Operations and the Foundation Performing Arts Center at Isothermal Community College since May 2021, overseeing public radio station WNCW - 88.7 FM and the Foundation Performing Arts and Conference Center. Prior to this role, David managed the operations of WNCW and WSIF FM from August 2006 to May 2021 as Director of Radio Operations. David's earlier experience includes working at Clear Channel Radio as Program Director and Operations Manager from January 2000 to July 2006, and as Assistant Program Director and Air Personality from April 1995 to December 1999. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Arts degree in Music Entertainment Management from the Art Institute of Atlanta, obtained in 1991, along with a High School Diploma from Ahoskie High School, earned in 1988.
