Matteo Bernardo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Matteo started their career as a Real Estate Agent at Tecnocasa Franchising S.p.a. from September 2015 to July 2017. Matteo then worked as a Commercial Data Analyst at Concetti S.P.A. from December 2020 to January 2021, where they assisted the commercial director in studying and analyzing potential customers and competitors and providing support for marketing activities.

In 2021, Matteo joined ISA SpA, where they held various roles. Matteo started as a Sales Junior Area Manager from June 2021 to October 2022. Later, they became an Area Sales Manager from November 2022 to present, responsible for managing sales activities in a specific area. Additionally, they are currently serving as a Project Manager since January 2023, overseeing projects within the company.

In 2022, Matteo also became a member of two organizations. Matteo joined the SDA Bocconi Entrepreneurship Club in October 2022, where they are involved in empowering fellow students interested in startups, technology, and innovation. Matteo also joined Bocconi Alumni Perugia in September 2022 as a member.

Matteo obtained a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Strategy from SDA Bocconi, a school they attended from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Economics at the Università degli Studi di Perugia from 2018 to 2021, specializing in International Economics and Management. In 2021, they also completed a thesis at St. John's University. Matteo went on an Erasmus Exchange to Universidad de Huelva from 2019 to 2020, studying Business. Matteo earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli" from 2015 to 2018, focusing on Administrative and Organizational Sciences. Before their university studies, Matteo attended ITCG Ruggero Bonghi - Assisi, specializing in Construction, Environment, and Territory until 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Matteo has acquired multiple certifications. Matteo obtained a Sustainability certification from Niels Brock Executive in July 2022. In March 2022, they received a Management Excellence & Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt certification from the Optness Institute.
