Laia Vives Adrián is an experienced professional in project management and communication within the scientific and educational sectors. Currently serving as a Project Manager in Health Education at IrsiCaixa AIDS Research Institute since September 2021, Laia has previously held positions as Project Manager and Head of Communication at the Structural Biology Unit of IBMB-CSIC from January 2010 to December 2019, where responsibilities included managing projects and coordinating communication efforts. Laia’s academic background includes a Master for Secondary Education Teachers from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, a Master in Scientific, Medical and Environmental Communication from UPF Barcelona School of Management, a PhD in Biotechnology from Universitat de Barcelona, and a Master in Crystallography and Crystallization from Universidad Internacional Menendez y Pelayo. Laia also holds a Biology Degree in Human Biology from Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
