Stephen Field is a retired medical professional with extensive experience in transfusion medicine and haematology. Currently serving as a Clinical Associate Professor at Trinity College Dublin and Medical & Scientific Director at the Irish Blood Transfusion Service, Stephen has held significant roles, including Medical Director at the Welsh Blood Service and Safe Blood for Africa Foundation. Stephen's educational background includes an MA in Ethics and Health Care Law from Swansea University, as well as several qualifications in haematology and medicine from the University of Zimbabwe and other institutions. Additionally, Stephen is a Fellow of the Faculty of Pathology in Haematology at The Royal College of Physicians in Ireland.
