Marisa Wainszelbaum

Vice President, Clinical Sciences at Repare Therapeutics

Marisa Wainszelbaum has a strong background in clinical sciences and translational research. Marisa is currently the Head of Clinical Sciences, Executive Director at Repare Therapeutics, a position they have held since February 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Clinical Sciences, Senior Director at Repare Therapeutics from December 2019 to February 2021.

At Merrimack, they contributed to the design and development of multi-arm, biomarker-selected Phase 1 basket studies and conducted pre-clinical investigations on biomarker-driven drug combinations.

Marisa's career began at Washington University School of Medicine, where they worked as a Sr Scientist from 2009 to 2010, Scientist from 2007 to 2009, and Postdoctoral Researcher from 2003 to 2007. During their time at the university, they made significant discoveries in the field of oncology, particularly in relation to the TBC1D3 oncogene and its impact on signaling pathways and endocytosis.
