Mark Tsang is an experienced engineering manager currently leading the software team for the SDA LEO Satellite Constellation Project at Iridium since September 2022, with a focus on health monitoring and reporting systems utilizing Kafka and Prometheus within a modular Java Spring Boot framework. As a senior software engineer at Honeywell since February 2019, Mark leads a team to develop a new DevOps platform to automate legacy processes. Prior roles include senior software engineer positions at General Dynamics Mission Systems, where Mark developed a JSF interface for NASA's satellite communications, and at Performance Software Corporation, where Mark delivered a flight controls simulator for Boeing. Mark's career began at IBM, where participation in a selective co-op program involved extensive product testing. Mark holds a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona.
