Manuel Sousa e Silva is an experienced Industrial Automation Engineer currently working at IPTE since May 2021. Previously, Manuel held the position of Industrial Automation and Robotics Engineer at RobotSol and RASFIL from March 2018 to May 2021, where involvement included managing projects from inception to completion for shared end customers. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Junior Software Engineer at Critical Manufacturing, and as an Industrial Automation Engineer at APINEQ - Aplicações Industriais e Equipamentos, Lda, with a focus on PLC, HMI, and robot programming. Manuel also served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, from September 2014 to November 2015. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a specialization in Robotics from the University of Porto, and a Postgraduate Degree in Industrial Management from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto.
