Jakob Andkjær Poulsgærd has work experience as an Environment Artist at IO Interactive from March 2021 to September 2022, and again from September 2022 to the present. Prior to that, they worked as a 3D Graphic Artist at Goathamster Studio from September 2019 to February 2021. Before that, they were an Eventafvikler at Den Glade Trøffel from July 2018 to June 2019.

From 2019 to 2022, Jakob Andkjær Poulsgærd attended Viden Djurs where they pursued a degree in Websteds-, digital/multimedia- og informationsressource-design. This program was offered by 3D College Denmark.
