Stacy Petti Price has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership positions within the pharmaceutical industry.
Starting in 1993, Stacy worked as a Senior Process Engineer at Serono Laboratories. Stacy managed technology transfer projects, provided technical support to manufacturing, and played a role in designing and installing manufacturing processing equipment and automation systems.
In 1998, Stacy joined TKT as the Manager of Cell Culture Manufacturing and Technical Services. Within this role, they established and staffed the Cell Culture Manufacturing and Manufacturing Sciences groups, overseeing the production of commercial, clinical, and preclinical products. Additionally, they managed external Contract Manufacturing Organizations to produce clinical and commercial product supply. Stacy later became the Director of Manufacturing and was responsible for overseeing a cGMP commercial manufacturing and clinical multi-product manufacturing site. Stacy successfully managed the startup of a new production facility, directed cell culture and protein purification manufacturing, and led the completion of process validation runs, regulatory inspections, and site approval.
In 2003, Stacy moved to Shire Pharmaceuticals as the Director of Operations. Stacy directed Drug Substance and Drug Product CMO and led a global senior leadership program team in technology transfer, validation, commercial production, and regulatory submissions. Stacy also played a key role in maturing and formalizing production support for Technical Operations, including Technology Transfer and Quality Systems processes.
Continuing at Shire Pharmaceuticals, Stacy assumed the position of Head of Operations in 2014. In this role, they set the vision and strategy for operations, developed knowledge management and workforce strategies, and implemented data-driven business processes aligned with corporate goals. Stacy routinely applied project management, business process management, and Lean Six Sigma principles to drive operational efficiency.
Moving on to Ziopharm Oncology in 2017, Stacy served as the Vice President of Technical Operations before being promoted to the Senior Vice President in 2020. Stacy'sresponsibilities included overseeing technical operations and implementing strategic initiatives for the company.
In 2021, Stacy joined Akouos as the Chief Technical Officer, where they contributed their expertise in technology and leadership until 2023.
Stacy's most recent position is as the Chief Technology and Manufacturing Officer at Invivyd, starting in March 2023. In this role, they are responsible for managing technology and manufacturing activities for the company.
Stacy Petti Price holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biochemical Engineering from Tufts University. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have also obtained several certifications, including the Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Stacy also holds a Business Process Management Professional certification from Boston University, as well as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Quality & Productivity Solutions.
