Melissa Gottschall, MBA, currently serves as Senior Sector Strategist at Invest Nova Scotia since July 2022. Prior to this role, Melissa worked as a Corporate Strategist in the Department of Economic Development for the Government of Nova Scotia from July 2021 to July 2022. Between September 2017 and July 2021, Melissa held multiple positions at Opportunities NB, including Manager of Business Navigation, Business Development Executive, and Business Development Associate. Earlier experience includes a position as a Page at the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick and a Student Mentor at the Student Accessibility Center at the University of New Brunswick. Melissa also gained experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk at Central Home Improvements Inc and as a Retail Accountant in the Finance Department at Sobeys. Melissa's career began as a Summer Camp Counselor at L'Arche Antigonish. Education includes a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick and a Bachelor of Business Administration with First Class Honours in Finance from St. Francis Xavier University.
