Joshua Weidenaar currently serves as the Director of Research at Intersect Illinois, having progressed through various roles including Senior Manager, Research Manager, Research Associate, and Intern since October 2018. Prior experience includes working as a Research Assistant at the MSU Center for Community & Economic Development, where Joshua developed task-oriented management skills and enhanced interpersonal communication in a professional setting. Joshua also cultivated service skills at Foods For Living from July 2013 to October 2018, engaging customers and training new employees. Earlier experience includes an apprenticeship at Rudy Baggs Coffee Co., where Joshua managed the processing and shipping of artisanal coffee. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies and Sustainability from Michigan State University.
