Tom Kenyon has an extensive work experience spanning over 20 years. Tom started their career as an advisor to the Treasurer in the SA Government in 2002 and later became an advisor to the Minister for Mining. In 2006, they joined Parliament of South Australia where they served as a Member for Newland and Government Whip until 2018. During their time in Parliament, they held various ministerial positions in the SA Government, including Minister for Road Safety, Veteran's Affairs, Recreation and Sport; Minister for Employment, Higher Education and Skills, Science and Information Economy, Rec and Sport; and Minister for Manufacturing, Innovation and Trade, and Small Business.
In 2018, Kenyon joined Innovyz Capital as the General Manager, a position they held until 2021. Tom then became the Project Manager until mid-2022 when they assumed the role of Non-Executive Director at Internet 2.0. Concurrently, in 2022, they also became the Director - Government & Community at In2life.
Tom Kenyon completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Management at the University of South Australia from 1997 to 1998. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian Studies from Flinders University between 1991 and 1993. Tom attended St Ignatius College in Athelstone from 1985 to 1989, but the degree and field of study for that period are not specified. Lastly, they earned a Certificate IV in Personal Training from the Australian Institute of Personal Trainers, although the specific years of enrollment are not provided.
