Mayra Alejandra Díaz del Olmo Oliveira is a seasoned professional in sustainability and environmental management with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as Sustainability Standards Manager at the International Tin Association since April 2022, Mayra previously held roles at the University of Leeds as a Student Information Services Advisor and Support, where front-line information services were provided to students and the public. Prior to that, Mayra worked as a Compliance Analyst at Hudbay Minerals Inc., developing sustainability and environmental reports, and achieved significant environmental impact statement approvals. Previous positions include Environmental Permits Engineer at Golder Associates and Environmental Engineer/Supervisor at Anddes, focused on monitoring and compliance in mining and agriculture. Mayra holds multiple degrees, including an MSc by Research in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the University of Exeter and an MSc in Environment and Development from the University of Leeds, alongside a professional degree and a BSc in Environmental Engineering from Universidad Científica del Sur.
