Maya Ungar is a UN Analyst and UN Project Officer at the International Crisis Group, with a rich background in peace advocacy and international relations. Previous roles include serving as an Advocate Network Member for Our Generation for Inclusive Peace, where Maya represented the organization at UN Women's events and contributed to its manifesto. Maya has interned with the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Department of State, focusing on Asian affairs and European relations, respectively. Additional experience includes positions with Alliance for Peacebuilding, Search for Common Ground, and STAND: The Student-led Movement to End Mass Atrocities. Maya holds a Master's degree in Global Governance and Diplomacy from the University of Oxford and a Summa Cum Laude Bachelor's degree in International and Global Studies, Political Science, and French from the University of Arkansas.
