Parvin Gurbanov possesses extensive experience in the aviation sector, currently serving as Senior Manager for the IATA Standard Safety Assessment since July 2018, after previously holding the position of Manager in the same department. From August 2006 to June 2018, Gurbanov held various roles at Azerbaijan Airlines, including QSM Director and First Officer of A319/20, while also serving as Chief of Quality Assurance Section. Additional experience includes roles as IOSA & ISAGO Lead Auditor at Morten Beyer & Agnew and ICAO English Language Proficiency Rater at the State Civil Aviation Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Early career experience includes serving as Ramp Supervisor/Auditor at FERAS - VIP Ground Handling Company. Gurbanov's educational background includes a Master's degree in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations from National Aviation Academy and a Diploma in Quality Management in Airline Operations from the IATA International Training & Development Institute, complemented by pilot training at SunState Aviation and a Bachelor's degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from Azerbaijan State University of Languages.
