Laurie Borgen

Vice President Global Digital Marketing at Intercom

Laurie Borgen has extensive experience in digital marketing and strategy. Laurie currently holds the position of Vice President of Global Digital Marketing at Intercom since April 2022. Prior to this, Laurie was an Advisory Council Member at GLG starting from September 2020. Laurie also worked at Digital Grace/Accenture as a Digital Transformation Consultant from June 2020 to April 2022.

Before joining Digital Grace/Accenture, Laurie held various roles at Intuitive, including Senior Director of Integrated Marketing from October 2018 to April 2020, and Director of Global Digital Marketing from October 2017 to October 2018. Laurie was responsible for developing a comprehensive global digital marketing transformation strategy and establishing a Digital Center of Excellence (COE).

Laurie also served as the Senior Director of Digital Marketing at Riverbed Technology from December 2016 to October 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific as the Senior Director of Global Digital Marketing and Strategy from March 2014 to December 2016, where they achieved significant growth in opportunities, organic acquisition, and cost per lead through the implementation of a digital-first customer experience.

Earlier in their career, Laurie worked at General Mills as the Senior Manager of Content, Editorial, and eCommerce from October 2009 to March 2013. Laurie led content strategy and planning for multiple brands, including the successful launch of campaigns such as Ask Betty and Betty 911.

Laurie's career in digital marketing started at Nortel Networks, where they served as the Head of Digital Marketing from February 2000 to October 2009. Laurie played a key role in establishing digital marketing as a worldwide marketing competency and led digital transformation initiatives globally.

Overall, Laurie Borgen has a proven track record of driving digital marketing strategies, establishing digital centers of excellence, and achieving significant growth through data-driven approaches and customer experience enhancements.

Laurie Borgen completed an Executive Education Program in Global Marketing at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2007 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Management, from the University of Arizona.
