Working closely with clients at every stage of a project's development, Katy integrates content strategy and UX, marrying a project's goals and resources with the needs and problems of the eventual user. Her responsibilities include client interviews, user research, information architecture, database and content management system design, wireframe development and testing, and visual design. Katy brings an understanding of design as an indispensable medium for storytelling and communicating complex ideas with transparency and subtlety. She began working with Interactive Knowledge in 2013 and has added a strong intuition for understanding a client’s goals and translating them into a beautiful and successful platform.
Katy holds a B.A. in Graphic Design from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a minor in Spanish from the University of Tourism in Seville, Spain.
