Elena Nuzzi has a wide range of experience in the education field. Elena currently works at Instruction Partners as an Early Literacy Content Lead and also holds the position of Content Lead, ELA. Prior to this, Elena was a 6th Grade Humanities Teacher at Community Academies of New Orleans and a Teacher Leader Advisor at The Louisiana Department of Education. Elena also worked as a Special Education Itinerant Teacher at Life's Worc and held various roles at Crescent City Schools, including Reading Interventionist, Dean of Intervention and 504/RTI Coordinator, and Special Education Teacher. Additionally, Elena has worked as a Teacher and Special Education Teacher at The Child School, where they played a key role in curriculum planning and development. Elena began their career as a Special Education Teacher at Gersh Academy and a Teacher's Assistant at Developmental Disabilities Institute.

Elena Nuzzi has a Master of Science degree in Childhood Education/Special Education from LIU Post, which they completed in 2008. Elena also has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Literature from Fordham University, which they obtained from 2001 to 2005. Additionally, Elena holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Fordham University.
