Catherine Merle du Bourg currently serves as a Chargée de projet communication et relations presse at Institut Montaigne since January 2023. Prior experience includes roles as an Account Executive and Assistant Account Executive at FleishmanHillard from July 2021 to January 2023, and a trainee at the General Secretariat of the Council of the EU from February 2021 to July 2021. Catherine has also worked as an Assistant de recherche at 89 Initiative, focusing on civic education and populism in the EU, and as a Public Affairs Intern at Roquette. Earlier, Catherine was a Junior Researcher at Justice and Peace Netherlands, participating in a project on Human Rights Defenders, and a Receptionist and sales assistant at DHL Express France. Academically, Catherine holds a MSc in European and international public policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Master's degree in European Affairs from Sciences Po, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Law from University College Maastricht, complemented by studies at UC San Diego and a high school diploma from Lycée Internationale Montebello.
