Daniel Colombo has a diverse work experience in various companies. Daniel started their career as a Water Treatment Operator at SUEZ France in 2019. In 2020, they joined BMW Group as a Computer Vision Engineer, where they developed computer vision algorithms for robots to detect 3D box poses. Daniel also worked on tasks such as camera calibration, motion detection, pose detection, and creating an object detection dataset. Daniel focused on improving the algorithms using unsupervised learning and semi-supervised learning techniques. Daniel provided technical support and handed over a calibration package and methods to plant workers. In 2021, Daniel worked as a Deep Learning Researcher at SONDRA, where they worked on a research project related to reconstructing high-resolution images from low-resolution ones. Their work led to a poster presentation at a workshop. In 2022, they worked as a Deep Learning Engineer at MBDA, and currently, they are a Research Engineer in BioAI at InstaDeep Ltd.
Daniel Colombo's education history includes attending CentraleSupélec from 2018 to 2022, where they pursued an Engineer's degree in Artificial Intelligence. In 2020, they also briefly studied Artificial Intelligence at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2018, Daniel attended Lycée Saint Louis, a Preparatory School for French "Grandes Ecoles."
