Itay Rachmilavich has extensive experience in clinical physics and scientific research, currently serving as Clinical Physics Manager at INSIGHTEC since July 2001. In this role, Itay leads research and data analysis projects focused on the intersection of physics and data science, particularly in medical FUS treatments. Previous positions at INSIGHTEC include Neuro Applications Manager for Asia and Research Projects Manager, where Itay led application specialists in the MRgFUS field. Earlier experience includes being an application specialist for bone metastases and neuro treatments, as well as work as a physicist in R&D focusing on uterine fibroids and bone metastases. Prior to INSIGHTEC, Itay worked as a financial analyst at Gvanim and taught high school physics and mathematics in the Netherlands. Itay holds a B.Sc. in Physics from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and a diploma in lute performance from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.
