Michelle Hotaling has a diverse work experience in various industries. Michelle is the Founder of Dreamaway Visions LLC, a company they started in December 2021. Prior to that, Michelle worked as a Content Creator of Sleep Stories, Hypnosis, and Meditation for BetterSleep by Ipnos, where they wrote scripts incorporating mindfulness and breathwork techniques to facilitate sleep. Michelle also recorded and edited vocals for one of the leading sleep apps.

Michelle was a Writer and Content Creator for Ultrahuman in 2020, where they wrote sleep stories and guided meditations to help listeners detach from overthinking and fall asleep. Michelle also served as a voiceover artist, recording and editing vocals for nap series and daytime meditations.

In 2019, Michelle worked as a Content Creator for Insight Timer, where they created original sleep and meditation content from start to finish. Michelle wrote scripts, composed, recorded narration, and edited the final production. Michelle also helped grow the subscriber base to 20,000.

Michelle founded Michelle's Sanctuary in 2015, a YouTube channel and podcast that provides guided meditation practices and sleep stories for those struggling with insomnia, depression, and anxiety. The channel has gained over 13 million views and 78,000 subscribers.

Before transitioning to the wellness industry, Michelle worked as an Educator and Class Coordinator for Murray's Cheese from 2015. Michelle developed and taught specialty classes, coordinated events for both the public and private instructionals, and shared knowledge of cheese producers in an immersive environment.

Michelle also has experience as a commercial actress, with national spots for Bud Light. Michelle started their career as a singer-songwriter, and their debut album was released in 2006 under Quantum Sheep Records.

Michelle Hotaling obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication Arts from Marymount Manhattan, which they attended from 1999 to 2001.
