Scott Robinson has a diverse work experience in the field of health economics and advanced analytics. Scott is currently working as the Vice President of HEOR at Inovalon since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Avalere Health as a Principal in Health Economics and Advanced Analytics from 2020 to 2021. In this role, they provided leadership, strategy, and business development support to the HEAA team. Scott also worked at Premier, Inc for a significant portion of their career. Scott held the position of Principal in Applied Research and Analytics from 2014 to 2020, where they provided leadership, strategy, and program development in various observational research areas. Scott also served as a Principal Research Scientist from 2009 to 2013, leading research projects and developing methodologies. Before joining Premier, Inc, Scott gained experience at LCF Research and The New Mexico Health Information Collaborative. From 2005 to 2009, they worked as a Senior Research Associate, leading various observational research projects and being a subject matter expert. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2005, they worked as a Research Associate, contributing to proposal writing, research design, and statistical analysis. Scott has extensive experience in all aspects of the research process, including proposal writing, database development, data collection, statistical analysis, and dissemination of results. Scott has also presented their research work at scientific meetings and mentored junior researchers.
Scott Robinson completed their education in a chronological order. Scott earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Health Services Research from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte between 2011 and 2022. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2010, they pursued coursework towards a PhD in Biotatistics at The University of New Mexico. In 2001 to 2003, they obtained a Master's in Public Health (MPH) degree with a focus on Epidemiology, also from The University of New Mexico. Scott Robinson accomplished a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Sociology from Baylor University from 1997 to 2000. Lastly, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biology and Sociology from Baylor University, which they completed between 1992 and 1996.
