Sergio Guerrero Zurita has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Sergio started their career as a Freelance e-commerce developer in 2009 and continued to work in various roles and companies over the years.

From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Developer and Technical Director at Internet en el Comercio, where they were responsible for technical development. In 2008, they joined Hostienda as a Web Developer, where they continued to enhance their skills in web development until 2010.

In 2010, Sergio co-founded Guvaser Group S.L. and played a key role in its establishment. However, they left the company in 2011.

From 2011 to 2012, Sergio worked as a PHP Developer in the Newsletters department at LetsBonus. During their time there, they handled the creation and delivery of daily newsletters with personalized offers to users.

After leaving LetsBonus, Sergio joined Vicens Vives Digital in 2012. Sergio started as a PHP Developer at Tiching, an educational platform that was later acquired by Vicens Vives. Sergio worked on web development and offered educational content to users, gaining valuable experience in PHP development. Sergio stayed with the company until 2014.

In 2014, Sergio briefly worked as a PHP Developer/Front-End Developer at Social&Loyal before joining Vicens Vives Digital again in 2015. At Vicens Vives Digital, they took on multiple roles, including Backend Software Developer and Technical Lead. Sergio played a crucial part in the migration of the company's main applications to a Backend For Frontend model, utilizing PHP/Symfony for frontend communication and Java/Spring/Hibernate for RESTful API implementation. Sergio followed a Domain Driven Design approach with a Hexagonal Architecture for creating the APIs. Sergio continued their tenure at Vicens Vives Digital until 2021.

Most recently, Sergio joined Innovamat in 2021 as a Frontend Developer, where they continue to expand their skills in this area.

Sergio Guerrero Zurita attended the Universitat de Girona from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniería técnica en informática de gestión. Their field of study during this time included programming, development, analysis, applications, and internet. Before that, from 2000 to 2002, they attended the Institut Sa Palomera and pursued a degree in Administración de Sistemes Informátics en Xarxa, although the field of study for this degree is not specified.

In terms of additional certifications, Sergio Guerrero Zurita obtained a MongoDB for developers certification in February 2014 from MongoDB, Inc.
