Bill Tang has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. BILL is currently working as a Software Engineer at Dtex Systems since March 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Citrix for a long duration from January 2007 to December 2017, where they held the position of Principal Software Engineer and was involved in the development, support, testing, and signing of Windows kernel drivers, VPN client software, and TCP/IP and layer 2 protocols. Before Citrix, they worked at Deterministic Networks as a Principal Software Engineer from January 1996 to January 2007, focusing on network software development and TCP/IP layers. BILL worked as a Senior Software Engineer at NetManage from January 1994 to January 1996, where they specialized in network filter driver development. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at Syzygy Communications from July 1989 to January 1994, where they worked on the management portal for a private network. Their first job was as a Test Engineer at IBM from December 1987 to July 1989, where they mainly tested mainframe OSI layers and wrote test programs in C and COBOL.
Bill Tang attended San Jose State University from 1985 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. BILL furthered their education at the same university from 1987 to 1989, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
