Michael Asa has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Michael is currently working as the Chief Technology Officer at Ingonyama since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Broadcom Limited as an Architect and Manager of the programmability team in the Packet processing group, contributing to the development of next-generation packet-processors. Michael also worked as a Principal Engineer at Broadcom from 2010 to 2011. Before joining Broadcom, Michael worked at Dune Networks as an ASIC Designer in the Packet processing group, where they were responsible for micro architecture block definition, design, and verification. Michael also gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at Technion from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, they held software engineering positions at Intel, where they worked on simulation projects during summer vacations in 2005 and 2006, and as a Jr. Micro Architect from 2002 to 2004.
Michael Asa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Architecture, Computer Networks, and Algorithms from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in 2004. Michael went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Computer Networks from the same institution in 2007.
