Guillaume Defrance de Tersant is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, carbon strategy, and technology development. Currently a Senior Director of FP&A at Indigo since August 2019, Guillaume has held various leadership roles within the company, including Director of Finance and Senior Manager of Carbon Strategy. Prior to Indigo, Guillaume co-founded Haystack Ag, an agtech startup focused on precision agriculture, and worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at MIT Sloan School of Management. Additional experience includes roles at SHoP Architects as a Design Intern, Dassault Systèmes as a Summer Intern, Silver Lake as a Private Equity Analyst, and Crédit Agricole CIB as a Financial Analyst. Educational qualifications include dual Master of Science degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering and Management, alongside a Master's in Corporate Financial Management from HEC Paris and a Bachelor’s in Applied Mathematics from Paris-Sud University.
