Daniel Johanson is an experienced professional in environmental and natural resource management, currently serving as Desert Projects Operations Manager and Strategic Fire Coordinator at Indigenous Desert Alliance since October 2021. Previously, Daniel held roles at Kanyirninpa Jukurrpa as Healthy Country Officer - Fire & Fauna and Ranger Coordinator, focusing on the management of cultural and ecological values within the Western Desert region. Additional experience includes working as a Park Ranger for the Northern Territory Government and as Ranger Coordinator for Ngaanyatjarra Land Council. Daniel holds a Diploma of Conservation and Land Management from Charles Darwin University, a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from RMIT Online, and various certifications in fire science and safety.
