Jessica Isaac has a diverse work experience in the field of pathology and laboratory management. Jessica most recently served as the Executive Director of the Pathology Laboratory at Indiana University Health from February 2020. Prior to that, they held the role of Director-Core Laboratory from August 2019 to April 2020. Before joining Indiana University Health, Jessica worked at Sparrow Health System, where they served as the Laboratory Outreach Operations Manager from December 2018 to August 2019 and as the Preanalytics Laboratory Manager from January 2017 to December 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at Sparrow Health System from June 2015 to January 2017. Jessica began their career at Eaton Rapids Medical Center, where they worked as a Medical Laboratory Scientist from August 2012 to November 2015. Jessica also gained research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Wayne State University from September 2005 to April 2009.

Jessica Isaac holds a Master of Health Administration degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Ohio University, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Health Services Administration degree in the same field of study at Baker College from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications, including MLS (ASCP)CM from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) in March 2021, a Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor License from the Florida Department of Health in August 2018, and MLT(ASCP) in April 2013.
