Baktygul Ibraimova has been working as a Software Engineer In Test at Independent Reserve since 2022. Prior to this, they were an SDET at Kompanion Bank from 2021 to 2022 and at Peaksoft from 2017 to 2021.

Baktygul Ibraimova attended Kyrgyz National University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics.
