Brett Mayfield has had a long and successful career at Independence Blue Cross. Brett began working at the company in 1991 as a Senior Vice President of Sales and held this role until July 2020. In January 2021, they returned to Independence Blue Cross as the SVP & Market President- Local Markets.

Brett Mayfield pursued their undergraduate education from 1984 to 1987 at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
