Matt Daalder has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Matt is currently working as a Fullstack Software Developer at Improving since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked at PrecisionOS as a Solutions Consultant from January to May 2023 and as a Fullstack Software Engineer from August 2022 to May 2023. Before that, they were a Fullstack Software Developer at YoppWorks from March 2021 to September 2022.
In 2020, Matt worked as a Sales Representative for Orthopaedics at Zimmer Biomet from April to December. Prior to their career in the medical field, Matt worked as a Repair Technician at Kingston Rowing Club from May 2013 to August 2015, where they repaired rowing shells for the competitive and recreational divisions and ensured workshop compliance with health and safety regulations.
Matt Daalder earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Geological Engineering from Queen's University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Matt later pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Anatomical Sciences at the same institution, which they completed from 2014 to 2016. Subsequently, Daalder started a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Calgary in 2019, but did not finish their degree and concluded their studies in 2020.
