Andreas Schäfer has over 20 years of work experience. Andreas began their career in 1999 as an Assistant at Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg. In 2000, they founded and co-founded two companies, Multimediale Visionen Schäfer and DieSeite GbR, respectively. In 2003, they took on the role of Business Development Manager, Senior Consultant at Fraunhofer IAIS. In 2005, they were a Research Manager/Consultant at Institut für Zukunftsmanagement in Verbundnetzwerken ADG/SHB and a Tutor (sec. occup.) at School of Management and Innovation. In 2006, they founded School of Management and Innovation. From 2009 to 2013, they were a Business Development Manager at Fraunhofer Institut für Intelligente Analyse- und Informationssysteme IAIS. In 2013, they became a Director at AS Capital UG and Co-Founder and CEO of Implisense. At Implisense, they co-created implisense.com, a B2B SaaS for SMBs, and co-developed custom B2B solutions at Enterprises. Andreas raised a Seed Round EUR 600K and public grants for net cash positive growth, and was a Category Winner Software/SaaS 2017/2018 CAGR Growth, Best of 2015 (Category CRM), and Winner at WECONOMY Gründerwettbewerb 2013. Andreas is now working on AI to improve economic resilience on a global scale.
Andreas Schäfer received their Dipl. -Oec. in Economics and Computer Science from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg in 2003. Andreas then went on to receive their Dr. rer. pol. in Economics from the same university in 2009. In 2012, they were awarded an EXIST-Gründerstipendium from The University of Bonn.
