Edgar Muthego is a seasoned Senior Geologist with extensive experience at Impala Platinum since 2007, focusing on ore reserves management, contractor oversight, budget control, grade control, and life of mine planning. Prior to this role, Edgar served as an Operations Geologist at the Council for Geoscience from 2005 to 2007, where responsibilities included mineral resource assessment and evaluations of industrial mineral deposits. Edgar holds a GDE in Mining from the University of the Witwatersrand (2010-2012) and a BSc Honours in Geology from Rand Afrikaans University (2001-2004), alongside a Grade 12 certificate from Mbilwi High School (1996-2000).
