Moumita Basu is a scientist with extensive experience in biochemistry and microbiology. Currently serving as Scientist-III at ImmunoACT since January 2023, Basu previously held the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, from January 2021 to December 2022. Prior to that, Basu was a CSIR-UGC Senior Research Fellow at the University of Calcutta from July 2014 to January 2021, also serving as a CSIR-UGC Junior Research Fellow during that time. Early career experience includes a summer trainee role at Bose Institute in June 2012. Moumita Basu holds a Master's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Calcutta and a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata. Education was completed at Gokhale Memorial Girls School.
