Summer Nicks is a Mechanical Engineer currently employed at Imatest since April 2021, where responsibilities include creating standards for a scalable hardware department and designing optical mechanical hardware products for various sectors such as aerospace and medical. Previous experience includes serving as a Manufacturing Engineer at Specialty Products, managing the design of equipment and processes, and significantly reducing setup time for machinists. Prior roles include Security Officer at HSS, Engineering Intern at Demiurge LLC, ITLL Manufacturing Center Machinist at the University of Colorado Boulder, and Systems Engineer for the Milwaukee Bucks' project on sideline chairs. Summer holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
