Suma Venkataswamappa has extensive work experience in software development and leadership roles. From 2021 to the present, Suma has been employed at Imaginera Limited, first as a Senior Software Developer and then as a Software Development Team Lead. Prior to this, in 2020, Suma worked at TrustQuay as a Dotnet Developer. From 2019 to 2020, Suma held a role as a .NET Developer at Microgen Financial Systems. Suma's earlier experience includes working at Cerner Corporation from 2014 to 2019, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer and later as a Team Lead. Starting their career, Suma worked at ITC Infotech as an Associate IT Consultant from 2011 to 2013.

Suma Venkataswamappa completed their education in a chronological order. Suma first attended Saint Thomas Bangalore from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained their Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC). Following that, they enrolled in Govt polytechnic for women bangalore from 2005 to 2008, where they pursued a Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering. In the same month, they also obtained the "Behavior-Driven Development" and "GDPR Compliance: Essential Training" certifications. In June 2020, Suma completed the "ASP.NET MVC 5 Essential Training" and "Learning ASP.NET" certifications. Their most recent certification, "Bootstrap 4 Essential Training," was obtained in December 2020, also from LinkedIn.
