Ana De La Cruz Herrera is a seasoned professional in the biotechnology and life sciences sectors, currently serving as the Commercial Lead Med and Head of Iberia at Illumina since January 2019. With previous leadership experience as Head of Spain at Eppendorf Group, Ana honed expertise in strategic planning, sales, and marketing management from February 2013 to January 2019. Ana's career spans various roles at Eppendorf, starting as an Area Manager in 2002, and gaining in-depth experience in marketing, application support, and sales strategy execution. Prior to Eppendorf, Ana worked as a Channel Sales Manager at Agilent Technologies and began a career in academia with a fellowship at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Ana holds a Master’s Degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry, a Postgraduate in Marketing and Communication, and an MBA from IE Business School.
