Laura Varela is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry and education. Currently serving as a Technical Specialist and Management Training Program Facilitator at IHRDC since October 2007, Laura Varela supports the development of e-Learning products and plays a key role in training programs for global participants. Prior experience includes roles as a Skills Evaluator at Waltham Family School and gas management positions at PDVSA Petroleos de Venezuela S.A., where Laura Varela led a team to manage and monitor gas contracts. Additionally, Laura Varela contributed to improvements in gas production processes at Maraven S.A., where innovative operational schemes and mathematical models were developed to optimize performance.
