Simon Stamm has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Simon started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Scripps Research Institute in 2006 and stayed there until 2010. In 2010, they joined Actelion, where they held various positions, including Lab Head and Senior Lab Head in Medicinal Chemistry. Simon worked at Actelion until 2017 when they moved to Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd. At Idorsia, they started as a Senior Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry and eventually became the Associate Director and Principal Scientist.

Simon Stamm has a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Zurich, which they obtained between 2002 and 2006. Simon also completed a Postdoctorate in Synthetic Organic Chemistry at Scripps Research from 2006 to 2010.
