Anna Lee has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Anna started their career in 2008 as a Language Teacher at Sejong Korean School, where they taught Korean language and culture to Korean-American students. In 2010, they worked as a CENSUS 2010 program assistant at the Korean Community Center of East Bay. Additionally, they briefly served as a Financial Advising Assistant at Massachusetts Mutual during the same year. From 2012 to 2013, Anna worked as a Staff Accountant at J. Sung Accountancy Corp, handling financial statements, tax returns, and representing clients in tax audits. Anna then joined IDG Capital in 2013 as their Director/Representative of Korean Business in China Office, where they analyzed and facilitated cross-border deals in the TMT, Media, and Gaming industries. In this role, they also assisted in fund raising, built networks with potential Korean investors, and supported portfolio companies in solving business problems and achieving growth. Throughout their career, Anna demonstrated skills in financial analysis, tax preparation, client representation, project coordination, and language instruction.
Anna Lee's education history includes a Master of Science in Management Studies from MIT Sloan School of Management, which they obtained from 2016 to 2017. Anna also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management, completed from 2015 to 2017. Prior to their postgraduate studies, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with options in Finance and Corporate Management from California State University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012.
