Utpal Dhruve, MD has worked in a variety of roles in the medical field since 2007. Utpal began their career as a Psychiatry Resident at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in 2008. In 2007, they were a Psychiatry Resident at the Delaware Psychiatric Center. In 2011, they began working at NorthShore University HealthSystem as the Medical Director Young Adult Psychiatric Services. That same year, they also began working at the University of Chicago Medicine as a Clinical Educator of Psychiatry. In 2016, they became a Clinical Instructor at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. In 2019, they began working at Hyr Medical as the Vice President of Psychiatric Services. Currently, they are the President of PeakLife,MD, a boutique Psychiatry clinic focused on life optimization with locations in downtown Chicago and Evanston.

Utpal Dhruve, MD completed a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Medical University of the Americas, a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry and Computer Science from Rutgers University, and a Psychiatry Residency from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
